St. Patrick’s Day gives us a reason for a chocolate-mint dessert. Whether it’s Thin Mints Cookies from the Girl Scouts or Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream from the grocery store, I’m all in for this flavor combination any day of the year.

I probably should not admit this, but I eat Ghiradelli’s dark chocolate mint candy every single day. It’s my afternoon treat…I should clarify that to say, THEY are my afternoon treat because the treat consists of more than one.

As I looked around to see what other dessert lovers are serving up with mint and chocolate, I discovered another blogger that I am so excited to find. You will understand my delight when I tell you that the name of her blog is Life, Love and Sugar

Besides our sugar addiction, I have learned that Lindsay and I also share faith, love of animals and even our two cities that we have called home. While we both have favorite travel cities, and have lived and worked in other cities, the ones we call home are Charlotte and Atlanta.

So in honor of Lindsay, her site and our serious sweet addiction, click here for a delicious, easy recipe for Mint Oreo Icebox Cake from her blog.
