Though summer has past and gone with it are my favorite fruits for pies (fresh peaches and strawberries), fall is actually my favorite pie season with pecan, pumpkin, sweet potato apple, chocolate or lemon chess. Yum!
Today I want to share how to take those homemade pies to another level by making your own pie crust. Yes, I often buy the refrigerated or frozen kinds for when I’m in a hurry, but there is definitely a difference when you make the crust yourself.
Here’s a video demo from my kitchen along with the recipe and a few tips:
Tell Me: What’s your favorite type of pie?
I’m in charge of making the pumpkin pie (my favorite!) this year for my family’s Thanksgiving gathering so this video was very helpful. I love that all of your advice – whether it’s related to fashion or food – is so real and thoughtful, yet you inspire your readers to “take it to the next level.” We all need a gentle push to make our lives a little more gracious. Thank you!
THANK YOU, Olivia!!! The O Report http://www.oliviafortson.com is a must read for me and all who have followed your beautiful writing and inspiration for years.
