Can you believe fall will be here in just three weeks? Time has certainly flown by. The impending cooler weather also brings seasonal fruits such as pumpkins and apples, and I’m looking forward to incorporating these delicious flavors into my recipes!

If you’re not big on baking or desserts, one of the easiest ways to add a little fall flavor to your diet is with a healthy breakfast smoothie. Read on for three delicious, blender-ready recipes just in time for the fall season! 

Oatmeal Cookie Smoothie

Makes 2 servings

  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons honey or agave nectar
  • 1/3 cup oats
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 1/2 cups unsweetened vanilla almond or coconut milk
  • 1 large scoop of ice

Makes 2 servings

  • 1 cup pumpkin purée
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond or coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave nectar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 large scoop of ice

Apple Cinnamon Spice Smoothie

Makes 1 serving

  • 1 organic apple of your choosing (peeled and sliced)
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond or coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 2 teaspoons of honey or agave nectar
  • 1 tablespoon of flaxseed
