Superfoods. By now we’ve all heard of them and how beneficial they are to our diets.
Though originally coined a marketing term, a “superfood” is simply as a nutrient-rich, low-calorie food considered to be especially beneficial to your wellbeing.
Though superfoods are mostly plant-based, many are also fish and dairy products. Fortunately, they can also make great additions to your dog’s eating regimen!

Fish: Oily fishes like salmon and sardines are loaded with omega-3 fatty acids, which are great for the skin. Fish are also a great source of protein and essential minerals like vitamin B12.
